Washington is a great place to fulfill your snowy dreams! During the winter, the mountain towns feel like a real life snow globe experience! Whether you’re looking for some comfort food, hot chocolate, a snowy trek or holiday lights, you will find it all here. Though Washington does live up to its rainy reputation, the winter time adds some seasonal energy. My boyfriend Johnny and I visited my college friend Marin right after Christmas and it was such a delight. I highly recommend getting a car (4-wheel drive), picking up a map, and hitting the road!

Western Weekend in Los Alamos, CA

If you’re looking to get a tiny taste of the wild west – Los Alamos, CA is the best kept secret for a swanky cowboy getaway. About 2 1/2 hours from Los Angeles, the small town of Los Alamos is easily overlooked. But in the past few years, the town has seen a steady stream of tourists – attracted to its old west heritage, trendy restaurants, wine scene and gem-filled antique shops. After spending a weekend here, I can honestly say it’s the cutest place for a quick change of scenery, good food and friendly people … just add cowboy boots.

Visiting London should be at the top of your list of places to visit. I always felt like there was something missing inside of me until I got to go. It’s history, charm, cute British accents and incredibly diverse population makes this place stand out among the rest. Never Too Soon for Tulum

Tulum, Mexico is one of my favorite places in the world. First off, Mexico = margaritas so there’s that. But Tulum specifically is chic while cheap … which is the best kind of chic. It’s a great place to see ancient ruins, wildlife, turquoise water, water-filled sinkholes and enjoy the best tacos you have ever tasted. It’s a place I’ve gone back to several times, even though I have a never-ending bucket list of new places to go. When people ask me where they should go for their next trip … I always say Tulum.
